Butterfly populations are a very good indicator of the health of an area's ecosystem !!
   Odina decoratus is an Indomalayan species of Skipper butterfly.
   Their preferred habitat is rainforest, and mixed and deciduous forest.
  They are found feeding along the edges of  forests.
   Their head, chest, and belly are yellow.
   Their belly shows black stripes.
   Males have orange yellow dorsal wings.
   The females have yellow dorsal wings.
   The wings have black spots and lines over their entire surface.
   The forewings have thick black stripes on the lateral edges.  
   Females have a slightly lighter wing and body color than the males.
   While at rest, they usually spread their wings.

The single biggest threat to butterfly survival is habitat destruction!!
