There are about 3400 species of Skippers. 
   They are named after their quick, darting flight.
   They are the fastest butterflies in the world, capable of flying at speeds of up to 37 mph !!
   Although Skipper butterflies share certain characteristics with other butterflies, particularly in egg, larval and pupae stages, they differ in several important ways;
   Skipper butterflies have the antennae clubs hooked backward like a crochet needle, while other butterflies have club-like tips to their antennae.
   Skipper butterflies also have hairier, stockier bodies than other butterfly species, with stronger wing muscles.
   Skippers live only 5 - 10 days as adults, with some subspecies making it to a couple of weeks.
