Butterfly populations are a very good indicator of the health of an area's ecosystem !!
   Erites angularis is found from Myanmar to Java.
   Their territory is confined to the deep shades of  forests where they can be baited with rotting fruits.
   Their flight is quite weak, and they can be seen returning to the same spot after having been  disturbed and driven away from an area earlier.
